This village is located 8 km. west from the city of Chania.
The wide sandy beach of Agia Marina
offers a beautiful view to the islet of Agii
Theodori,
which is protected area. In the village are plenty shops and taverna's. There
is a good bus connetion witc Chania. (two times an our). The old village of Agia
Marina, which is located more interior at a hill, has beautifull small streets
and a typical village square with church. The hopitable
taverna's
serve original Cretan specialities in a traditional atmosphere. Agia
Marina is surrounded bij wooded hills with olivetrees and vineyards. It is
a fantastic area to walk.
