Triada (Agia Trias)
Agia Trias of Agia Triada is located not far from
Festos, at the sea side. According
to Italian archaeologists it was a kind of Royal House
during Minoan times. Many founds have been done here, for
example
beautiful pots and magnificent paintings in relief.
The in relief painted urn of is well known as well as the
frescoes with
water lilies,
wild
cats etc.
All these beautiful pieces you can admire in the archaeological
museum of Iraklion.
