| Fodele
Fodele is particularly
known on account of the fact that it is the birthplace
of the world famous
painter "El
Greco".
During his stay in Spain, the painter Theotokopoulos was called "The
Greek":
El Greco. The village Fodele has a nice square with a statue in
honour of El Greco. Fodele is situated in a very beautiful, green
environment. It is a friendly village with some small handcraft
shops. Close to the thick tree is a nice tavern. The beach of fodele
is just outside the village.
