VAI. For Greece a unique palm tree wood with a beautiful blue
sea gives Vai the appearance of a paradise. The name comes from "vaia",
which means palm branch. The wood is very old, which appears
in the language of Minoan Crete. (palm of Theofrastos)
The palm wood is nowadays protected area.
