Elounta Elounta became famous because
of the tv-series "Who pays the
ferryman" which was filmed here. It is a nice, lively place
at the coast. The peninsula of Spinalonga lies just at the opposite
of Elounta. At the harbour are located some nice fish taverns and
from here the excursion boats are leaving every day to
Spinalonga.
