Balos Beach
Balos beach near Gramvoessa
in the west of Crete is an unspoiled, abandoned beach, that
only few people know. To reach it, you must go by 4-wheel
drive or take a walk of 12,5 kilometres over un-asphalted road!
At the point of arrival, you also have to walk down a 200 metres.
(think about it, before you go there: you have to walk back
too..) It is magnificent indeed, and worth the effort. Enjoy
the beautiful pictures and who knows, maybe one day you will
see it with your own eyes!
