PARGA.
On the western coast of Epirus, to the south of Sivota,
you will find the town of Parga which is built amphitheatrically.
The houses are traditional built under the Venetian castle
and the roads are small cobble stoned. It is one of the
most beautiful tourist towns in Greece. Parga is very picturesque,
the sea is crystal clear and along the coast are many sandy
beaches. The people are very friendly and hospitable. Parga
has a beautiful harbour, with colourful boats which are
used for daytrips. Facing the sea you will see some small
green islands; the biggest is the island of Mother Mary.
Travelling around the area you will find a lot of small
traditional settlements. The landscape with the green mountain
and the Venetian castle gives the town of Parga its charme.
There are narrow streets surrounding Parga with plenty
of tavernas, shops, and cafe/bars, and even two discos.
You willl find many rooms to rent here.
