Karditsa Greece
Karditsa. One of the four Districts of Thessaly, whose characteristic feature is the beauty resulting from the contrast between the massif in the south-west and the plain in the north-eastern part. There are remains from the Neolithic period, from the Hellenistic, Byzantine and late Byzantine tradition up to the modern times. Discovering Karditsa is a very pleasant experience. The Karditsa district offers a variety of alternatives to the visitor, whichever his interests or the purpose of his visit may be. The mountain chains of both Pindos and Agrafa are a constant and enchanting invitation to enjoy the authentic nature and calm vacations in an environment of rich vegetation (forests with fir, oak and chestnut trees) and abundant waters.
