Alopronia. Alopronia (also called Ano Pronia) on the Greek island of Sikinos is located approximately four kilometers (2.5 mi) southwest of the capital, Chora. Here, the port connects Sikinos to other Cycladic islands, such as Santorini and Mykonos.
Alopronia is a pleasant tourist village with a beautiful sandy beach. There are restaurants, cafeterias and hotels.
During summer, tourist boats embark daily from the port of Alopronia to the secluded beaches of the east coast, such as Aghios Nikolaos, Dialiskari, Aghios Georgios (all north of Alopronia) and Aghios Panteleimon (south of Alopronia).
