Alinda - Leros (Greece)

Alinda. Alinda or Alinta is an enjoyable seaside resort on the Greek island of Leros, with a beautiful sandy pebble beach. It is located three kilometers (nearly 2 mi) northwest of the capital of Leros, Agia Marina.

Alinda is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the island. It is located in the Alinda bay, exactly opposite Agia Marina. In Alinda there are numerous hotels in all price ranges and at the beach are several restaurants and cafeterias. To the left of the beach jetties protect fishing boats.

Alinda sites:

• The Beleni tower in which the ethnological museum is located.
• The monasteries of Agioi Saranta and Aghios Sofronios.
• The neighboring village of Krithoni with attractive houses.
