Kyra Panagia - Karpathos (Greece)
KYRA PANAGIA - KARPATHOS. Kyra Panagia is one of the most famous beaches of the Greek island of Karpathos. It is located 14 kilometers (9 mi) north of Pigadia. It’s accessible by car or bus via Aperi and it lies between steep cliffs. A beautiful church with a red dome that is frequently photographed for calendars and postcards is located here.
Several times a day, boats sail from Pigadia to Kyra Panagia and these trips are really worthwhile. Kyra Panagia has a sand and pebble beach that is very popular among young people and families with children because the water is very shallow. The turquoise colors of the sea give an extra dimension to the beach. All beach amenities are offered here, including parasols and sun loungers. In addition, here are many hotels and restaurants.
The whole area around Kyra Panagia has natural beauty, with greenery, pines and many vineyards.
