Evdilos. Evdilos is one of the two largest ports on the Greek island of Ikaria. It lies in the north of the island, 33 kilometers northwest of the capital, Agios Kirykos. Evdilos is a traditional village on the slopes of a hill, built around the harbour. The houses usually have two floors and on the roof are located ceramic tiles.
The nicest place of Evdilos is the port. Around the harbour are many restaurants, cafes, seafood tavernas, shops, souvenir shops, travel agencies and car rentals. There are many beautiful houses, old mansions that have been restored, both at the port and in the upper town. From the upper town, you have a beautiful view over the harbour. In the upper town is the church of Agios Charalambos. Strikingly beautiful is also the town hall here.
Would you like to swim in Evdilos, then you better go outside town because in Evdilos itself is only a small pebble beach, which is near the port. For more beautiful beaches you should be just outside. West for example, is the beautiful beach of Kampos and in the east the beaches Kyparissi, Bottle and Kerame.
