Kiotari. Kiotari is a beach resort in the south east of the Greek island of Rhodes. It is located 58 kilometers (36 mi) south of Rhodes town and is accessible by car in about 60 minutes.
Kiotari is not a busy resort town. Perhaps this has to do with the distance to the airport and because Rhodes town is quite far away. Over the last 15 years tourism has arrived in the form of large hotels. Many of these hotels are all-inclusive.
The beaches of Kiotari are somewhat large, grey, sandy and gravel beaches. The sea water is crystal clear. There are restaurants and taverns, but a real village doesn’t exist. If you want to go to an actual village in the area then you can make a trip to Gennadi 5 kilometers (3 mi) to the south. Or to Lindos which is 21 kilometers (13 mi) to the north.
