DRAKEIA. The picturesque Drakeia in Pelion, Greece, was built around 1655 by craftsmen from Epirus. It is said that the main square is the oldest square of Pelion. Certainly worth visiting are the old houses of the manor of Drakeia Triandafyllou, with wall paintings from the 18th century, and beaautifully carved doors and ceilings.
