Fakistra. Fakistra is a beautiful secluded rocky beach located in the east of Pelion, Greece, close to Tsagarada. The beach has fine sand with small stones and it is surrounded by steep cliffs. The beach is isolated and remote. There are no sun beds, umbrellas and shops nearby, but it is a fantastic place to explore.
Behind the beach is an impressive waterfall. Fakistra Beach can be reached by car. You drive to the large plateau, park the car and then walk down through a green path.
Like ancient soldiers, the cliffs protect their treasure of the Aegean - the deserted and secluded beach of Fakistra where one can feel like a happy castaway.
There are two historic caves to the north of Fakistra. The sea cave of Panagia Megalomata full of stalactites, and a few meters further the cave in which the "Hidden School" of Tsangarada was located during the Turkish rule.
