Kalamaki. Kalamaki is one of the oldest villages of Pelion, Greece. Historically, Kalamaki was the birthplace of seamen and sailors. It has been occupied since 1550, and is located close to Lampinou. The houses are built in the traditional local style and one has used the famous silver-green stone of Pelion. At Kalamaki are the churches of Agios Athanasios and the small monastery of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.
