ACHARAVI. Acharavi (Aharavi) is a coastal village in the far north of the island of Corfu. It is located in the Bay of Roda, three kilometres east of the resort Roda and 37 kilometres from Corfu Town. The greatest asset of this holiday resort is of course the lovely long sandy pebble beach. This beautiful beach is more than 8 kilometres long and the sea water here is very shallow making it ideal for families with young children. Along this beach there are lots of great restaurants, cafes, bars, souvenir shops and minimarkets. There are many hotels, apartments and rooms for rent.
Not far from the beach is the "old Acharavi", a traditional Greek village with traditional buildings. The hilly area behind Acharavi is idyllic with pine trees and olive groves. In this environment you can enjoy hiking and mountain biking as there are many paths and rural roads. Beautiful and interesting sights near Acharavi are the Roman Baths, the Antinioti lagoon and the valley of the Nymphs at Mount Pantokrator.
