Roda - Corfu (Greece)
Roda. The beach resort Roda is located in the north of Corfu island, 36 kilometres from Corfu town. Ones upon a time, it was a quite fishing village, but now it is a real busy touristic town. At the eastern part of the beach is the fishing harbour which still is very picturesque. There are many hotels in Roda, car rental offices, plenty of tavernas, bars, shops and there is also a nice camping site with a large pool. At the beautiful sandy beach of Roda are all kinds of water sports possible including parasailing . Further facilities offered are boat trips to Paleokastritsa, Sidari, Corfu town and to the coastal islands near Corfu. There also some archaeological sites like the remains of a Doric temple dating from the fifth century BC. In the archaeological museum in Corfu town you can admire the finds of Roda.
