Seitan Limania or Stefanou beach. Twenty kilometers northwest of Chania city is one of the most impressive beaches of Crete. The beach is on the east side of the Akrotiri peninsula and is accessible via the villages Chordaki and Rizoskloko. You cannot park, on the beach and must walk the last part. There is plenty of parking, and on the right side is a mountain path running down. Remarkably at Seitan Limania are the small, long, narrow bays between the rocks that remind you of fjords. The small, sandy beach is very nice and is visited a lot during the summer months.
On the beach there are no facilities, umbrellas etc. It is "pure nature". There are also no restaurants, if you go, please take something to eat and drink with you. Note that the path is only suitable for visitors who have no difficulty walking. The name 'Seitan Limania' is originating from the beach during the Ottoman domination, 'Seitan' literally means 'Devil' and 'Limani' means 'Haven'.
